Luxury city centre apartment

Clair Strong Interior Design was hired to design this stunning ground-floor apartment situated in an exclusive Grade II listed residential development, in the beautiful city of Bath. The client bought the apartment to let as a holiday home and wanted it to be the perfect base for a couple looking for a luxury home-from-home from which to explore the delights of nearby Bath.

Clair provided full design, project coordination and sourcing services to give this one-bedroom apartment a chic contemporary look with a real touch of glamour!

The bright and airy open plan living space is decorated in a modern palette using Farrow & Ball’s Great White, a lilac off-white on walls and ceiling, a bespoke storage wall in Farrow & Ball Paean Black, and accents of blush pink, black and white marble, mink velvet and light brown tweed.

The stylish bedroom has walls and ceiling in Farrow & Ball Paean Black Modern Emulsion and accents of silver velvet, gold, mustard and marble give it a sophisticated look.

The furniture is contemporary with dining chairs from Vincent Sheppard, marble dining, coffee and side tables from Gubi and Menu, a bespoke headboard and kingsized upholstered bed, and bedside tables and wardrobe designed and made by Clair Strong Interior Design in collaboration with a local cabinet maker.

Feature lighting, most strikingly the Verpan chandelier from Olson & Baker in the super chic bedroom, is used throughout.

Outside, the garden furniture on the pretty enclosed patio is from Vincent Sheppard and is the perfect place to enjoy the evening sun.

Finished to an exceptional standard, the apartment offers an immaculate and luxurious space.
